Bags all packed, passport in hand - that can only mean one thing....Vacation Time! But where to this time?!!! VIVA LA MEXICO!! Okay, let's be honest, when thinking of Mexico, Puerto Vallarta doesn't necessarily scream PARTAYYYY! However, over the years it has become a lot more of a tourist destination than it used to be. This could be largely due to the fact that those "spring breakers" and "honeymooners" have grown tired of the typical hot spots - Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, and Playa Del Carmen, and have decided to seek out a more relaxing venue, Mexico is a straight laundry list of good times and it fills my heart with plenty of happy. 1,168 miles away from home, through the historic cobblestone streets and up the steep and jagged cliff side lands us at a hidden gem - a private sanctuary, a resort not to be reckoned with. Club Regina is all of that and so much more. An enclave of natural beauty and views from every room, we couldn't have found ourselves a better home away from home for the week. The perks were plentiful. From the minute we stepped off the plane, until we left the resort a week later - the tequila was never ending! I'm not kidding when I say this at all. We literally had a drink in hand at ALL times. The great locals of Puerto Vallarta made absolute sure of this. But I will get more into this later on. (fresh off the plane and already have tequila in hand!) Before diving into all of the excitement this country has to offer, I wanted to first share a few travel tips that I hope you will find super helpful while navigating throughout the beautiful, yet chaotic, city of Puerto Vallarta.
