berlinMy first time in Europe - you can imagine my excitement! Since I was a little girl, I have been dreaming about the day I would finally visit Europe...and now that dream had finally become a reality! My first stop was Berlin, Germany. I departed LAX around 5:00 a.m. and after a very looonnggggg 13 hour travel day, the plane finally descended into Tegel airport. Woohooooo! After landing, everything went by so quickly. The immigration line was fast, and there was absolutely no line for customs. Never encountered that before! My baggage arrived close to last which caused a mini panic attack to set in, but thankfully everything it arrived and at last, I was ready to venture out and explore the historically eccentric city! So, where do I begin in a city as big as Berlin? Well, for starters, Berlin has a fascinating history when it comes to the museums and of course the Berlin wall. Then there's the modern, more vibrant multicultural culture of the street are and music that mixes in influences from all around the world. And the nightlife....well, let's just say the Germans know how to partayyyyy! Whether your'e looking for a clubbing marathon or a relaxing night in one of the biergartens, you can find it all here. When it comes to money, Berlin is one of Europe's cheaper cities, but prices will definitely start to add up after a few days if you aren't careful. Below I will provide my top tips for making the most of your trip to Berlin. I will also include the costs, location, and hours of each place visited. ACCOMMODATIONplaces to eatattractions
