Capri’s beauty has made it a dream destination with unbelievable views, delicious food, and an amazing vibe. It's one of the few places I've visited that has completely captured my heart at first glance. You can get to Capri via ferry either from Naples or any of the towns on the Amalfi Coast. Its a quick and beautiful trip! There are two sides to Capri Island. Anacapri is at the top and where you’ll find most of the villas. This is where we stayed during our time here. Although the atmosphere is a lot more mellow and relaxed, there are still relatively a lot of restaurants and shops there, but you will a lot more night life and tourism in in Capri. Getting around the island is easy. They have super cheap buses that will take you any where you want to go and they run every 10-15 minutes. They also have trams and adorable little convertible taxis everywhere. These will cost a bit more, but if you share a taxi, it will be more worth the time. You can even walk if you want, but I’d only do it either from the marina or to the marina from Capri. The walk takes about 30 minutes and it's either all completely up hill or down hill, depending on which direction you are headed. Below I will provide a brief outline on the highlights of Anacapri / Capri that I experienced including accommodation, places to eat, and places to visit. ACCOMMODATION IN anacapriHOTEL BIANCAMARIA Location: Via Giuseppe Orlandi, 54, 80071 Anacapri NA, Italy Cost: 1 room with queen bed starts at $160 per night Hours: 24/7 reception available Website: http://hotelbiancamaria.com/en/ WHERE TO EATAs with so many places in Italy, I don’t think you’ll have a bad meal in Capri / Anacapri. The eateries in the marina right by the ferries are more expensive than others because of location, but anywhere you choose should be good to go. You’re in Italy, so just enjoy the bread, pizza, pasta, and gelato on repeat. Capri is known for it’s lemons, so be sure to have lots of lemon anything– especially the famous 'limoncello.' CAPRI
